National deputy for the Union for the Homeland and leader of Patria Grande, Juan Grabois, was received by Cristina Kirchner, whom he noted was "very well, whole, and dignified" during the two-hour meeting in the Constitución neighborhood where the former president is serving a house arrest sentence. "Yesterday I spent a couple of hours with Cristina, with our agreements, disagreements, and the affection that has united us for ten years. Everything else is just neighborhood problems," he pointed out. The legislator clarified that his recognition of Cristina Kirchner's career and personal affection does not "take away a millimeter of independence" from his political group, Patria Grande. "None of this takes away a millimeter of our independence or political judgment as a current within Peronism, nor does it imply automatic alignments or a lack of critical thinking," he stated. And he assured that "none of ours can lead if they do not recognize the basic fact that the political regime has been illegitimate since Cristina's proscription." Finally, he expressed his wish that "in 2026 we continue to resist and fight for a full democracy, without hunger, without outrages, without wars, without proscriptions, with everyone inside, and a superior way out for our country, the best in the world." During the past week, Grabois made an extensive tour in his personal car through different provinces of the country, which included Córdoba, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, and Santa Fe. The federal tour combined political meetings, public activities, and meetings with indigenous communities, peasants, and workers. "For those of us who have an institutional responsibility in the Chamber of Deputies, which is the representation of the people, we have to travel the entire country," he said in this regard. The same applies to a few of ours.
